The EIT Digital Master Programmes are a two-year M.Sc. with compulsory geographical and organizational mobility for the students, including a mandatory summer school between the first and the second year. DSC (Data Science) is one of these.
The programmes consist in seven different majors and are run through a co-operation between 10+ of the top technical universities in Europe. The focal point of all these two-years master programme majors is that they include 30 ECTS of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) which is taught mainly during the 1st year of Master.

UNS/UCA acts as both an entry (M1) and an exit (M2) point in DSC. The program is run under the responsibility of the Polytech Nice Sophia (PNS) faculty of UNS/UCA.

The exit point in Data Science at UNS offers a specialization in Multimedia and Web Science for Big Data. A slightly reworked program will be deployed from September 2019.  The Program web page describes the new program for the exit point. The master is part of the newly national wide funded Graduate school (EUR) Digital systems for Humans, as part of the renewed Computer science master of UNS/Université Côte d'Azur, which itself got an excellence funding (IDEX) in 2016. Additionally, Université Côte d'Azur has gained in April 2019 a very important funding in AI, meaning lot of research opportunities will be added to the already vibrant AI and DSC ecosystem in the coming months. Besides industrial opportunities, exit students will be exposed to many relevant ones from the academic ecosystem, for either the mandatory project of semester 1 and/or the mandatory internship which constitutes the semester 2.

To confort of our strong link with the industry partners we invite sponsors: the 2015-16 cohort' sponsor has been Amadeus Head of Innovation Landry Holi. The 2016-17 cohort' sponsor was IBM Global Industry Solution center Nice - Paris Jean Michel Corrieu. The 2017-18 cohort sponsor' was SAP Labs France located nearby, in Mougins, whose head is Ms Olena
KUSHAKOVSKA. And the 2018-19 cohort' sponsor is again Jean Michel Corrieu from IBM and we again thank him for the support that this provides.

Students, be they entry or exit, from cohort 2018, will be graduated ("master degree in Computer Science, EIT Digital Data science track") from UCA and not anymore from UNS (which will be absorbed into UCA from 2020). Students that came in september 2018 as the former ones are however graduated with a Master of UNS.

Visit the Alumni sub page to show how well our students do integrate in either the local ecosystem or abroad.
